To better meet the needs of our students and community concerns please use the following link (https://forms.gle/jzejozT16E648hKK6) if you wish to anonymously report any incident to the GHMS administration. If you do not wish to be anonymous, students, families, and community members are still able to fill out an incident report to address a concern in the GHMS front office. Future Panthers Family Night Open House Do you have an incoming 7th grade student for the 2020-2021 school year? If so mark your calendars for our Future Panthers Family Night Open House. Teachers and school staff will be here on Thursday, February 27 from 5:30-7:00 to show you the school and answer any questions you have about transitioning your child into middle school next school year. Please share this information with neighbors and friends that do have current 6th graders as well. See you and your future Panther on the 27th! Certified Staff of the Month! Congrats to Mrs. Pacheco for earning Certified Staff of the Month! Mrs. Pacheco is the unsung hero of the 8th grade team! She consistently mixes things up in class to keep them exciting. She never says no to helping with a difficult task. She understands and practices excellent teaching strategies. Beyond the work she does in the classroom, Mrs. Pacheco provides a wealth of resources and lesson ideas to her colleagues. Our students are lucky to have such a devoted teacher! Classified Staff of the Month! Ms. Michelle has earned February Classified Staff of the Month. Ms. Michelle is calm cool and collected. She provides the students breaks or timeouts if needed and works very hard to make sure students are taken care of when they enter the RLC. Ms. Michelle monitors the outside in the morning and the playground in the afternoon. Thank you Ms. Michelle! 7th Grade Student of the Month! February Student of the Month- 7th Grade- Audrey Nodal Audrey is one of the kindest, most gentle spirits around. She possesses a growth mindset uncomparable to most as she is always willing to try new things and search for solutions to tough questions or problems. Her attitude and behavior shine brightly as she always carries a joyful presence with her wherever she goes; it is hard not to share a smile when you are with Audrey. She is most often seen working diligently on her work, trying to get down to the root of the task in front of her, yet is not afraid to ask questions which is a great testament to her humble and hardworking spirit. Audrey is extremely motivated and that strength is contagious to the students around her. She already possesses many of the necessary strengths to grow into a healthy, strong successful adult!
